Monin Hibiscus Syrup

The eye-catching hibiscus flower is appreciated in many cultures for its fruity, pleasant taste, beautiful appearance and medicinal benefits. In Mexico and other Latin countries, the hibiscus blossom is used to prepare “Jamaica”, a cold herbal tea made by boiling the dehydrated flowers in hot water and letting the tea cool, then serving with ice. In Asia and the Middle East, hibiscus petals and roots are employed in various ways, including traditional medicine. In the United States it is a relative newcomer in the food and beverage realm, although in recent years several herbal tea blends have emerged with Hibiscus.

With its floral and fruity flavor, Monin Hibiscus is the perfect way to add delightful hibiscus flavor to several beverages including sodas, cocktails and more.
